Saint of the Day calendar
Saints of January
In MySavior’s Saint of the Day calendar, each of the 31 days of January has its own saint or feast: 28 saints, 1 pope and 2 feasts or commemorations. Each row links to the English Wikipedia article behind that day’s biography in the app.
The year opens on New Year’s Day with Mary, Mother of God (January 1), and January closes with Saint John Bosco (January 31). In between come two Church Fathers, Saint Basil the Great (January 2) and Saint Gregory of Nyssa (January 10), the Conversion of Saint Paul (January 25) and the Dominican theologian Saint Thomas Aquinas (January 28).

Notes on January
- Mary, Mother of God (January 1) and Queenship of Mary (August 22) use the same Wikipedia article (Mary, mother of Jesus), so the app shows the same biography on both days.
- For Saints Timothy and Titus (January 26), the app’s biography comes from the Wikipedia article on Saint Timothy.
Names are shown exactly as the app shows them. The day-to-saint matching loosely follows the General Roman Calendar of the Catholic Church, with some United States dates, so a saint may fall on another day in your local calendar. How the days are chosen.
